What rod do you use for jig head minnow style bait? I have a skeleton nano spinning rod drop shot rod that i more use for shakey head. But im starting to get the hang of the jighead minnow thing so ide like to get a little more bait specific rod.

Are you sure that spotted bass wasn't an alabama bass? It's been recently classified as another black bass species and spotted bass records are being changed because of it. There are alabama bass in them waters. Great fishing y'all.
